Join our standard Italian course, focusing on conversation and comprehension. Suitable for all levels, with a personalized approach for effective learning.
The Standard Italian Course is suitable for students who want to improve their overall level of Italian and in particular their conversational and comprehension skills.
The focus is therefore mainly on the spoken language in Italy in order to put you in a position to deal with a wide variety of everyday communication situations.
Students will be divided into small groups according to their real level of knowledge of the Italian language.
The school offers all the levels provided by the CEFR:
A1 – Absolute beginner
A2 – Elementary
B1 – Intermediate
B2 – Upper Intermediate
C1 – Advanced
C2 – Upper advanced
Teachers will organize the course based on the students' abilities and will use the most suitable method for the participants of the course, creating lessons designed and built specifically for the students present in the course.
Course Content
- Conversation: starting from the basic courses, students will practice a lot of conversation and be involved in a variety of activities through the use of authentic and audio-visual materials.
- Communicative Functions: we help you enhance your communication skills by providing you with the linguistic tools to express your preferences, make requests, ask for information, and describe places and people. In short, we will assist you in using the language effectively and dynamically to interact in the real world.
- Grammar: a solid grammar foundation is the right ingredient for speaking accurately and expressing yourself correctly and appropriately in every situation. Therefore, in your Italian course, you will cover the appropriate amount of grammar necessary for your communication level, ensuring a proper balance between theory and practice.
- Fluency: communicative functions, combined with grammar, will go hand in hand with the development of fluent verbal communication, allowing you to develop as natural a speech as possible.
- Pronunciation: you will work on perfecting your Italian pronunciation, aiming to minimize the influences and interferences of your native language.
- Beyond Communication: at Culturforum, you will learn not only to communicate correctly and fluently in Italian but also to become familiar with forms of politeness, typical expressions, proverbs, and common regional phrases used throughout Italy, significantly enriching your knowledge of the Italian language. This will enable you to relate to Italians in the most authentic way possible.
