School and University Courses

Are you planning a language trip for a group of school, university or adult students? With a study holiday at Culturforum your students will be able to meet other students from all over the world who share the same objective: to learn Italian.

From the start of our Italian language course, we will be in a position to offer you a varied and stimulating experience, supplemented by a full programme of activities and visits, which can be personalised and adapted to the level and interests of your students.

The School and university courses can be organised to respond to the specific needs of students and their own ways of learning. The daily programme of group activities can be agreed with the accompanying teacher, to offer your students a unique experience, according to their interests.

Our programme for school groups typically involves some 15 or 20 hours of lessons a week, plus guided visits to different cities, archaeological sites, museums, local companies, ‘farms, etc.

The programme can also include sports activities, such as tennis, volley-ball, basketball, soccer, horse riding and so on.

Together with the teacher, we will create a personalised course of study and a detailed programme of activities and excursions. We will also arrange accommodation for the students in hotels, plus transport to/from the airport or station.

The programme of Italian courses can be tailored the individual university courses already being taken – or the specific interests of your group. They can also be integrated with courses on Linguistics, History, History of Art, Culture and Civilisation, Economics etc.

The group can be integrated into our classes with students from different parts of the world, based on their level of knowledge of the Italian language – or students can follow a dedicated course.

Some possible activities: a workshop with students and meetings with the tearchers and students at the Univiersity of Palermo; guided visits to archaelogical sites, museums and sites of artistic, cultural and historic interest; participation in cultural events and concerts; cookery courses; visits to wine cellars; visits to local farms.
